When you get started with an Etsy store or a lifestyle blog, heck, functionally anything you are trying, at some point it is going to feel like you are not getting anywhere and that you are just slogging through the mud.
Seth Godin calls this The Dip. That place which is un-fun and really hard. Where you feel like nothing is happening and your dream is slowly dying a horrible and slow death!
This happens with everything! Think about the last time you cleaned your desk. You take everything out, start organizing and about 90% through you think, this is never going to end. My desk will never be clean and tidy.
Unfortunately that is where most people stop with their desk cleaning AND their business goals!
Luckily for me I am stubborn and just a little bit boring and worker bee-like. Once I set myself on a path, I don't really spend too much time agonizing over whether I should be doing that thing or not, I just plug along and do it regularly!
Well here in week 10 I am starting to feel like I am getting somewhere!
I have made a bunch of sales through Etsy to people who did not know me, who were just interested in my product and one “big” sale ($22.00) to someone who wanted to get her life in order…YAY!
